Detox is Dr. Dre’s long overdue third solo album. While it may come by the end of the year, as Dre said recently, who will be the featured guests?
The good doctor has mentioned possible collaborations with Jay-Z, Nas and Lil Wayne, but what about his protege The Game? According to the Compton rapper, via an interview with Complex, he hasn’t spoken to his mentor in months, so the possibility of him being featured on the highly anticipated project is minimal at the present time.
“I spoke to Dre a few months ago, and he was just calling to check in,” Game said. “It wasn’t really about nothing. Nothing worth talking about. I wish him well with Detox, but I don’t need Dre or anybody to make my sh** come to life.”
Although Game isn’t worried about making the project, he does say that without him, he doesn’t think Dre can even finish the project.
In fact, the rapper’s lack of involvement would be an injustice to the album, in Game’s eyes.
“I don’t really care about being on Detox. I don’t think Dre can finish Detox without having me on it, man,” he said. “I’m the West Coast — I am the West Coast. You can’t do anything on the West Coast without involving myself, my name, or my brand. For me not to be a part of Detox, Dre would be doing himself an injustice, not me.”
Who ends up making the final tracklist is yet to be seen, and at press time, there was still no confirmed release date for the project, despite Dr. Dre revealed, back in July, that he was “shooting for a November or December release for Detox.
WTF?? It’s time for Game to shut the hell up because disrespecting Dre, Eminem, Proof, G-Unit, and Jay-Z aint helpin’ him. I think I speak for everyone when I say that Dr. Dre doesnt need Gayme on his record! Besides putting out a wack album, he should do like Banks said and ‘pop his noodles’.

Könnte bitte jemand der G-Unit ein paar Taschentücher reichen, denn der kommende Freitag dürfte als “Black Wallstreet Day” in die Musikgeschichte eingehen und Lloyd, Yayo und 50 Cents aktuelles Album den neuen Titel “(Self)Terminate On Sight” verpassen. Denn dann erscheint das neue The Game Album “LAX” in den Staaten und der Rapper ist mit einer heftigen Tracklist bewaffnet.
Selten hat ein Longplayer so viele Spitzen-Gäste und Produzenten gesehen. Damit beisst The Game nicht nur die Hand die ihn einst fütterte, mit diesem Album hackt er sie komplett ab und verfüttert sie an streunende Hunde.

Am Mic standen u.a. Nas, Common, Lil Wayne, Raekwon, Ludacris, DMX, Ice Cube, Ne-Yo, Travis Barker, Busta Rhymes und Keyshia Cole und auch Produzenten-Liste ist ziemlich krass. Hm.. seltsam. Wie der amerikanische Nachrichtensender ABC News in Erfahrung brachte, hat sich 50 Cent bisher weder bei der New Yorker Feuerwehr, noch beim NYPD bezüglich der Brandursache seines Hauses gemeldet. Laut eines Mitarbeiters der Feuerwehr, behindert er somit die Untersuchungen enorm:
“In so einem Fall haben wir natürlich immer ein paar Fragen an den Besitzer des Hauses. Das ist ein ganz normaler Vorgang. Doch wir können Herrn Jackson nicht erreichen und somit auch nicht mit den Untersuchungen fortfahren!”
Natürlich wirft dies kein gutes Licht auf den Rapper, denn in den letzten Wochen fand er trotzdem die Zeit das G-Unit Album “Terminate On Sight” zu promoten, einen Film abzudrehen und wurde auf einigen New Yorker Events gesichtet. Höchstwahrscheinlich riet ihm sein Anwalt Brett Kimmel, sich vorerst nicht zu dem Fall zu äußern.
Ende Mai diesen Jahres brannte 50 Cents Haus – in dem sich sein 10-jähriger Sohn, dessen Mutter und weitere 4 Personen befanden – fast bis auf die Grundmauern nieder. Die Anwesenden konnten der Feuerhölle gerade noch entkommen und mussten im Krankenhaus wegen leichten Rauchvergiftungen behandelt werden.
